About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our platform, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and user-friendly. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our platform’s capabilities and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, preferably in a web-based environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software solutions to support the platform’s growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our platform.
  • Contribute to the documentation of technical processes and solutions for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative team environment.
