Data Engineer – Azure Platform
£55-65,000 + bonus
Hybrid Working – 1 day on-site per week
Midlands based
I'm working with a business that's continuing to invest in its Azure data platform and is looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing team.
You'll be involved in designing and developing Azure data solutions, building and maintaining data pipelines, and supporting a modern analytics platform. Working across Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL, you'll collaborate with experienced engineers and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable and scalable data solutions, while continuing to develop your technical skills.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Azure data pipelines and ETL processes
- Support the development of Azure-based data warehouses and data lakes
- Monitor and optimise data platform performance
- Work with technical and business teams to deliver data solutions
- Support data quality, governance and security initiatives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Azure data platform
Key experience:
- Experience with Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- SQL and Python
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL principles
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
