🚨 Hiring: Data Engineer – Data Scientist – Advanced Analytics
No. of Positions: 2
Location: UK – Remote
Working Mode: Remote
Employment Type: Contract – 6 Months
Rate: £250/day
🔹 Eligibility
- UK National
- Minimum 5 years continuous UK residency
- BPSS Mandatory
🔹 Mandatory Skills
- Building integrations against source-system APIs, including Webhooks, REST and Event Streams
- Experience connecting source systems to data/AI platforms
- Event-driven ingestion patterns using:
- API Gateway
- AWS Lambda
- EventBridge
- SQS
- State/watermark tracking using DynamoDB
- Reconciliation mechanisms to identify delivery gaps
- Strong Python development experience for data pipelines/integrations
- Data migration experience, e.g. AWS DMS

🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Build source-system integrations and reliable ingestion pipelines
- Implement Webhooks → API Gateway/Lambda → EventBridge → SQS patterns
- Develop watermark/state tracking and reconciliation processes
- Onboard new source systems such as Confluence, JIRA and other enterprise systems
- Handle data migration and backfilling activities using technologies such as AWS DMS
- Work with Knowledge Engineering teams to ensure ingested data meets required quality and structure
