About the Role
We are looking for two experienced Data Engineers to join a major client engagement within the insurance sector. This is a hybrid position based in Dublin, requiring attendance on-site 2–3 days per week.
You will work as part of a high-performing data team, designing, building, and optimising modern data platforms and pipelines that support critical business initiatives. Candidates must have previous experience working within the insurance industry and understand the complexities of insurance data, systems, and business processes.

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Build and optimise cloud-based data solutions and data platforms.
- Integrate data from multiple source systems into enterprise data environments.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and developers to deliver data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across the platform.
- Support data modelling, transformation, and optimisation activities.
- Contribute to best practices around engineering, testing, documentation, and deployment.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.
- Previous experience working within the insurance industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of insurance data models, business processes, and domain concepts.
- Experience building modern data pipelines using cloud technologies.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data integration and transformation.
- Experience working with modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
