Azure Data Platform Engineer
Remote | £90,000–£105,000 basic + benefits
We’re hiring an experienced Azure Data Platform Engineer / DataOps Engineer to support a major data programme with a household-name Financial Services organisation.
The focus is simple: build and manage the Azure data platform that enables data engineers to start building on day one, without waiting on environments, access or manual setup.
You’ll be responsible for:

- Azure data platforms and landing zones
- Azure networking, security and platform configuration
- Databricks & Synapse workspace deployment
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- CI/CD, automated testing and monitoring
- Building repeatable, self-service platform processes
What we’re looking for:
- A strong Azure data platform background, with good experience in at least one of the areas above and some exposure to the others.

You don’t need to be an expert across the whole stack, we’re more interested in someone strong on the Azure Data or platform side who understands the other areas too. Databricks or AI experience isn't required but you will be upskilled!
