We're working with a consultancy that is expanding its data engineering capability to support the delivery of a large-scale cloud data platform for a central government project. They are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to help design and develop modern data solutions capable of handling complex, high-volume datasets.

The Role

  • Design and develop modern data solutions for complex, high-volume datasets.
  • Join a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing and evolving a cloud-based data platform.
  • Shape how data is collected, processed, governed, and consumed across the full data lifecycle.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices.
  • Process complex location-based datasets.

What You'll Need

  • Strong commercial experience delivering data engineering solutions in Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
  • Experience with geospatial, mapping, or location intelligence datasets.
  • Central UK government experience within the last 5 years.
  • Strong Python and SQL development skills.
  • Experience building and supporting automated data pipelines.
