Responsibilities
- Build and maintain batch and incremental data pipelines from operational systems into analytical storage
- Design data models and transformations that support dependable downstream analysis
- Implement pipeline tests, monitoring, schema checks, and recovery procedures
- Investigate pipeline failures and improve reliability, performance, and processing efficiency
- Work with analysts and software engineers to document data contracts and source behavior
Qualification
Required
- Practical experience developing and operating data pipelines
- Strong SQL and Python programming skills
- Understanding of relational data modeling, incremental processing, and schema evolution
- Experience with version control, automated testing, and workflow orchestration
- Ability to diagnose production data issues and communicate clearly in a remote team

Preferred
- Experience with cloud data warehouses and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster
- Familiarity with distributed processing, streaming ingestion, or change data capture
