Are you a hands-on Data Engineer with strong Snowflake experience who enjoys building modern data platforms and working on large-scale migration projects?
Location: Manchester – 4 days onsite
Duration: Initial 3 months (high chance of extension)
Day Rate: £400 Outside IR35
We’re looking for a Data Engineer who has:
- Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer
- Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Experience building and managing data pipelines and workflows using an orchestration tool
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience with dbt and modern data transformation practices
- Experience working on data migration or platform transformation projects
- Comfortable working in a predominantly onsite environment, with 4 days per week in Manchester

As the Data Engineer you will be:
- Supporting the build-out of a new data platform and system
- Working on a Snowflake migration project from an existing data environment
- Designing and developing data pipelines and transformation workflows
- Using Snowflake, dbt, Windmill and Python as the core technology stack
- Building and maintaining orchestration processes to support reliable data movement and transformation
- Working closely with other engineers and technical stakeholders to deliver the new platform

This is an urgent hands-on data engineering engagement with a clear focus on building a new system and delivering a Snowflake migration.
