A leading managed services provider is looking for a Data Center Engineer to join their infrastructure team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the lifecycle of all managed hardware hosted within regional facilities, providing technical assistance and supporting facility operations to ensure maximum uptime.
What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshooting and repairing hardware faults including the installation of spares and components.
- Managing the installation and decommissioning of managed equipment at various sites.
- Performing routine maintenance on server and network equipment to maintain environment uptime.
- Documenting equipment configurations, hardware solutions, and maintaining asset databases.
- Managing site security and access control to maintain quality and security certifications.

What We're Looking For
- At least one year of experience supporting server hardware for a service provider or large corporation.
- Proven experience installing and troubleshooting firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with corporate clients via multiple channels.
- A valid manual driving license and the ability to travel to various sites as required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
