We are working with a leading consultancy that is expanding its data engineering capability to support the delivery of a large-scale cloud data platform. This organisation is at the forefront of designing and developing modern data solutions capable of handling complex, high-volume datasets for central government projects.
The Role
- Design and develop cutting-edge data solutions for complex, high-volume datasets
- Join a multidisciplinary team to evolve a cloud-based data platform
- Shape data collection, processing, governance, and consumption strategies
- Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
- Process complex location-based datasets

What You'll Need
- Strong commercial experience delivering data engineering solutions in Azure
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Spark-based technologies
- Experience with geospatial, mapping, or location intelligence datasets
- Central UK government experience within the last 5 years
- Strong Python and SQL development skills
- Familiarity with modern cloud data platform patterns, architectures, automated data pipelines, and CI/CD practices
