Data Engineer | Tech for Social Good | Up to £45,000 | Liverpool (1 Day/Week in Office)
Are you a data professional with strong SQL skills who wants to build modern data pipelines that directly improve lives?
We are exclusively partnering with a purpose-driven public service delivery organisation dedicated to positively transforming healthcare, youth training, and employment support across the UK.
Having established their central data function just two years ago, they are scaling rapidly.
Following two recent internal promotions to Senior roles, they are now hiring an ambitious Data Engineer to help build out their central platform and take their career to the next level.

Role Details & Location
- Salary: Up to £45,000
- Location: Liverpool City Centre
- Work Setup: 1 day per week in the Liverpool office (Hybrid)
- Team & Tooling: Azure, Snowflake, ADF, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Jira, and Confluence within a semi-agile setup.

What You’ll Bring
- Strong SQL: Deep technical SQL capability with a focus on engineering best practices.
- Analyst/Engineer Profile: Background as a Data/BI Analyst doing hands-on data manipulation or a Junior Data Engineer ready to step up.
- Collaborative Mindset: Eagerness to partner with domain analysts and centralise data pipelines.
Desirable (or to learn on the job):
- Exposure to cloud orchestration (Azure Data Factory / ADF).
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with Snowflake.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or Power BI semantic models.
- Curiosity about applied machine learning and AI capabilities.
