Role: Data Engineer (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Job Type: Full-Time
Payout: $140K - $180K/yr
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Data Engineer to work on a full-time basis. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support real-time and batch processing systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses and lakes.
- Develop and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and availability for downstream applications.
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.
- Implement and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, S3).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka).
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
