About The Role
The Data Engineer Programme at Newto Training is a unique, self-funded career development initiative designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in data technology. This program offers a structured pathway into the data industry, combining intensive online training, industry-recognized certifications, and practical project work. Upon successful completion, participants are guaranteed a job placement with a starting salary of up to £40,000. The role is ideal for those eager to develop their technical skills in data analysis, SQL, Python, Power BI, and cloud computing platforms like Microsoft Azure. As a participant, you will receive dedicated support from experienced tutors, career coaching, CV assistance, and access to our extensive employer network, all aimed at helping you secure your first role in data analytics or engineering.

Qualifications
We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate a strong interest in technology and problem-solving. No prior experience in data or IT is required. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude towards career development. A basic understanding of computers and a genuine enthusiasm for working with data are advantageous. Responsibilities
As a participant in the Data Engineer Programme, your responsibilities will include:
- Attending live instructor-led online training sessions
- Actively engaging in practical project work
- Preparing for industry-recognized certification exams
- Developing proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- Working on real-world projects to apply your skills in solving business problems, thereby gaining hands-on experience
- Receiving tailored mentorship and support to enhance your technical capabilities and professional development
Post-completion, you will be supported in job search activities, including CV refinement, interview preparation, and leveraging our employer network to secure your first role in data analytics or engineering.
