Data Engineer
Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote depending on project requirements)
Employment Type: Permanent or Contract
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000
Day Rate: £350 (Inside IR35, depending on experience)
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required
AgileSource is seeking experienced Data Engineers to join a growing delivery team supporting high-profile client engagements. We're looking for hands-on engineers who can design, build and maintain robust data solutions while working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes.
- Develop data integration solutions using Python and SQL.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and reliability across platforms.
- Support data modelling and transformation activities.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts and stakeholders to deliver client outcomes.
- Take ownership of defined work packages and deliver them independently.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on Data Engineering experience.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of data modelling, transformation and data quality principles.
- Ability to work effectively within Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
