We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, to help Eastlight become a truly data-led organisation. You'll design and develop trusted data products, pipelines and models that support reporting, analytics and better decision-making across the business.
Working closely with Digital, Data, Performance and operational teams, you'll transform complex data requirements into scalable, reusable solutions, improve data quality and governance, and deliver insights that drive performance and improve customer services.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and maintaining data pipelines, integrations and data warehouse solutions.
- Creating reusable data models and datasets for reporting and analytics.
- Delivering insight and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Working with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
- Improving data quality, governance and reporting capability.
- Using AWS data services and promoting data best practice across Eastlight.

What you'll bring:
- Significant experience in data engineering, BI development and ETL processes.
- Strong SQL, data modelling and data warehousing skills (including Kimball/Star Schema).
- Experience building and managing data pipelines and centralised data warehouses.
- Proven experience with cloud data and analytics platforms, including AWS services such as S3, Athena, Redshift and Glue, and/or Microsoft technologies such as Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Previous experience working in the Housing Sector is desirable.
