About the Role
We are hiring a Data Engineering Intern on behalf of our client to support their data and technology initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are interested in working with data, developing efficient data processes, and contributing to data-driven business solutions.
The selected candidate will collaborate with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams, gaining practical exposure to real-world data engineering projects and professional workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the collection, organization, processing, and validation of data from various sources.
- Support the development and maintenance of reliable data workflows and processes.
- Assist in preparing and transforming data for analytical and business requirements.
- Help identify data quality issues and contribute to their resolution.
- Support database-related activities and maintain accurate data records.
- Assist with monitoring data processes and identifying potential issues or inconsistencies.
- Work collaboratively with data, technology, and business teams on assigned projects.
- Contribute to documentation of data processes, workflows, and project requirements.
- Assist with improving data accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and reliability.
- Participate in project discussions and contribute ideas for improving data-related processes.
- Follow established standards for data security, privacy, and quality.
- Support ad-hoc data-related tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of databases, data management, and data processing concepts.
- Familiarity with working with datasets or performing data-related academic or personal projects is an advantage.
- Strong academic foundation with an interest in developing a career in data engineering or data technology.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Candidates should demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to team objectives.
