Data Engineering Lead

London (Hybrid)

Up to £90,000 + 20% Bonus

We're partnering with a rapidly growing consumer brand that's investing heavily in data and looking for its first Data Engineering Lead to build the foundations of a modern, data-driven organisation.

This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of growth and take ownership of the entire data landscape, from platform architecture and data pipelines through to governance, reporting and future team expansion.

The Role

You'll be responsible for designing and scaling the company's data platform, bringing together data from multiple sources and creating a single source of truth for reporting and decision-making. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and play a key role in shaping the long-term data strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
