Data Engineering Lead - London (Hybrid or Office Based)

We are hiring for a fast growing, award winning UK consumer products brand in the health and wellness space, selling internationally across DTC and marketplace channels. Now maturing into a data empowered business.

This is the first dedicated data hire. Reporting has gone from fully manual to an early automated foundation, and you will own the next stage: a secure, centralised, self serve data platform. Hands on from day one, with the opportunity to build and lead a team.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain pipelines from source systems (Shopify, Amazon, ad platforms, Northbeam, Klaviyo, ShipBob, Fulfil, Gorgias, Attio) into BigQuery and out to Power BI and Google Sheets
  • Improve the unified data layer, judging when to refine architecture and when a tactical fix is right
  • Manage the external analytics partner: set requirements, QA output, decide what is built in house
  • Own monthly and quarterly reporting analytics so numbers are trusted and reconciled
  • Define access models, shared definitions, governance and security from scratch
  • Build data literacy through self serve dashboards, documentation and training
  • Optimise conversion and behaviour tracking (GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, Elevar, Northbeam APEX)
  • Implement LLM driven analysis workflows on top of clean, structured data

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
