Product Data and Analytics Lead
Location
UK or Poland (Residents only – relocation and sponsorship not provided)
Role Purpose
The Product Data and Analytics Lead provides the technical engine for the Value Management Office (VMO), automating the visibility of portfolio performance and benefit realisation across the organisation. This role:
- Builds and maintains the "Value Dashboard", ensuring seamless integration of data from disparate systems (Finance, Project Management, and Operations) to provide a real-time view of strategic ROI.
- Defines technical standards for value-tracking tools.
- Creates automated data objects linking project outputs to the organisation’s "North Star" strategic objectives.
This role sits at the intersection of Digital & Technology (D&T) and executive leadership (SLT/ELT), translating strategic priorities ("what") into actionable technical infrastructure ("how"). The incumbent acts as an ambassador for data transparency, ensuring all stakeholders—from Team Leads to the Board—have access to consistent, automated evidence of value delivery.
Main Accountabilities

Automated Value Pipeline Design and implement complex data flows connecting:
- Operational systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Financial systems (e.g., SAP) Automates benefit tracking via scalable processes.

Executive Dashboarding Build and maintain high-fidelity interactive dashboards (using Power BI/Tableau) that visualise:
- OKRs
- KPIs
- Actual vs. forecasted ROI

- Financial Analyst To translate complex business case metrics into scalable data models.

Data Quality Governance Adhere to best practices to ensure accurate, auditable, and compliant performance data for senior leadership.
Role-Specific Skills

Full-Stack Analytics Engineering Expertise in:
- ETL/ELT processes
- Data ingestion to front-end visualisation

Business Systems Analysis Ability to map:
- Technical project metadata
- Financial value metrics

Stakeholder Communication Experience translating technical data structures into:
- Intuitive interfaces for non-technical stakeholders

Complex System Design Capability to architect solutions in highly fragmented, multi-unit environments.
Role-Specific Knowledge & Experience
Minimum (Essential)
✔ Experience in:
- Data modelling, metadata, design, coding, testing, and delivery of data engineering solutions.
- Supporting large change projects/programmes, covering:
- Digital transformation
- Multi-technology architectures
✔ Advanced proficiency in:
- Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric for executive-grade dashboards

✔ Experience with:
- ETL tools, scripting, and data storage (e.g., Data Warehousing/Data Lakes) for performance analytics
- Cloud technologies:
- SaaS, IaaS, PaaS
- Multi-cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Public/private cloud, network infrastructure
✔ Familiarity with Cyber Security best practices and regulations
✔ Fluency in English
✔ Current residency in the UK or Poland with unlimited right to work in the respective location
Desirable
✔ Experience in:
- A VMO, PMO, or strategy-led data function
✔ Background in:
- Financial modelling
- Commercial performance analytics
✔ Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Tableau Desktop Specialist
✔ Line management experience
Education
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Professional Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified Data Engineer
- Certifications in Data Visualisation or Business Intelligence (e.g., Power BI/Tableau)

Pay Band & Salary
Pay Band 8 Annual salary range:
- Poland: PLN 192,000 – 252,000
- UK: £38,000 – £46,000
