Inspired

Inspired is a market leading, technology-enabled provider of energy and sustainability solutions in the UK - supporting businesses to transition to net zero carbon and manage their response to climate change.

Established in 2000, we became the first publicly quoted advisor following a successful AIM debut in 2011. We are now the UK’s number one destination for businesses seeking expert insight and advisory services to help them manage their energy costs, reduce their carbon emissions and prove their net zero carbon and ESG strategies to their investors and customers

We are looking for a Data Enrichment Manager to join our successful Marketing team. This role is home based with occasional travel to offices required.

Role and Responsibilities

The Data Enrichment Manager will own the development and enrichment of Inspired’s commercial prospect and account data, ensuring Marketing and Sales have the intelligence required to identify, prioritise and engage the right organisations and decision-makers.

The role will move Inspired beyond basic contact data by building commercially useful account intelligence across the target market, including organisational characteristics, key stakeholders, sector information, energy and sustainability indicators, existing relationships, buying signals and other relevant commercial attributes.

Working closely with Strategic Marketing, Demand Generation, Market Activation, Sales and Marketing Operations, the role will ensure data becomes an active source of commercial opportunity rather than simply a database administration function.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Own Inspired’s prospect and account data enrichment strategy.
  • Build and maintain high-quality target account datasets across Inspired’s priority markets and sectors.
  • Define the data required to support new-logo acquisition, ABM, cross-sell and market activation programmes.
  • Enrich company records with relevant firmographic, commercial, sector and market intelligence.
  • Identify and maintain relevant decision-makers, influencers and buying committee contacts within target organisations.
  • Develop data points and indicators that help identify organisations with a higher propensity to require Inspired’s Energy, Sustainability and Optimisation services.
  • Use external datasets, research tools, public information and commercial intelligence platforms to improve account understanding.
  • Develop processes to identify organisational change, trigger events, buying signals and other commercially relevant intelligence.
  • Work with Strategic Marketing to develop detailed intelligence for priority strategic accounts.
  • Work with Demand Generation and Market Activation to create accurate and actionable campaign audiences and prospect lists.
  • Work with Marketing Operations to ensure enriched information is appropriately structured and maintained within HubSpot.
  • Establish data quality, completeness and coverage standards and report against them.
  • Identify duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate or outdated records and establish processes for remediation.
  • Evaluate and manage appropriate data, enrichment and intelligence platforms and suppliers.
  • Ensure prospect data is collected, processed and used in accordance with GDPR and relevant data protection requirements.
  • Develop repeatable processes that continually improve the depth and commercial usefulness of Inspired’s target-market intelligence.
  • Measure success not simply by the volume of data added, but by its contribution to account prioritisation, prospect engagement, meetings, opportunities and pipeline.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
