About the Role
As an Enterprise Solutions Consultant focused on Data & AI, you will serve as a trusted advisor to global organizations seeking to unlock the value of their data through analytics, artificial intelligence, and intelligent automation. Working within SoftServe's Data & AI practice, you will engage with Fortune 500 clients across the full relationship lifecycle — from pre-sales and discovery through delivery and long-term account stewardship — helping them turn complex data challenges into competitive advantage.
You will bring deep expertise in data and AI strategy, combined with a multidisciplinary consulting approach, to design solutions that are technically rigorous, commercially grounded, and aligned to real business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Business Development
- Partner with multidisciplinary sales teams as a Data & AI subject matter expert, contributing to opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and executive-level presentations
- Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder engagements to understand clients' data maturity, analytical ambitions, business strategy, and technology landscape
- Define and document business cases, solution visions, and transformation roadmaps — translating data and AI opportunities into language that resonates at C-suite and board level
- Identify and propose data and AI solutions that clients haven't yet envisioned, demonstrating SoftServe's unique differentiation
- Build trusted advisor relationships with client leadership and foster long-term strategic partnerships
Solution Leadership & Delivery
- Provide an authoritative consulting presence throughout all engagement stages, synthesizing complex AI and analytics concepts into clear, compelling business value narratives
- Facilitate workshops and assessments to define requirements, evaluate data readiness, and scope analytics and AI initiatives accurately
- Ensure that project backlogs and deliverables remain aligned to the agreed solution vision, acting as the client's advocate within SoftServe
- Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, engineers, and delivery teams to design practical, scalable, value-driven data and AI solutions
- Analyze client data structures, pipelines, and governance practices to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Gather and assess feedback on delivered solutions, propose enhancements, and identify opportunities for follow-on services

Innovation & Thought Leadership

- Contribute to the development of SoftServe's Data & AI service offerings, accelerators, and reusable assets
- Prepare and deliver thought leadership content, presentations, and case studies for industry audiences, analysts, and partners
- Support SoftServe's brand through contributions to social media, industry forums, and internal knowledge-sharing platforms
Requirements
Experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Data & Analytics Consulting, AI/ML strategy, or enterprise data transformation
- Proven track record in enterprise B2B environments, including pre-sales or advisory roles supporting complex, ambiguous engagements
- Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional, distributed teams across geographies and business units
- Hands-on involvement in analytics transformation, data strategy, or AI/ML implementation programs
Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end data value chain: from data architecture and engineering to analytics, AI/ML, and insight activation
- Familiarity with modern data and AI platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, generative AI, predictive analytics, and how they translate into business use cases
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and responsible AI principles
Skills
- Exceptional consultative and client-facing presence — comfortable engaging at all organizational levels including the C-suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex data and AI concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with a hypothesis-driven consulting mindset
- Skilled in facilitating workshops, managing ambiguity, and aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared vision
- Ability to work independently and lead matrix teams across geographic and cultural boundaries
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency (B2+)
Certifications (preferred)
- Relevant data or analytics certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP data or AI certifications, Databricks, Google Professional Data Engineer, or equivalent
- Enterprise architecture certifications (TOGAF, Zachman) are a plus
- Industry certifications in Business Analysis, Product Management, or Project Management (CBAP, PMI, Pragmatic, COBIT)
- Agile methodology experience; certification desirable

Education
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline; MBA or Master's in a relevant field is highly preferred
Travel
- Up to 50% travel to client and partner sites; some international travel may be required.
