Position: Data Entry Administrator

Hours: Full-Time 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Location: Haywards Heath

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Entry Administrator to join our growing team at FlyerTech's Haywards Heath office. This role is ideally suited to an individual with excellent administrative and data entry skills who enjoys working with technical information and ensuring records are maintained accurately and efficiently.

This position would suit candidates with strong administrative or data entry experience. Full training will be provided from day one, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career within the aviation industry.

As a Data Entry Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting our Continuing Airworthiness Management operations by accurately entering aircraft technical log information, managing documentation, and liaising with customers to ensure the timely receipt and processing of records.

Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Carrying out the accurate and timely entry of customer Technical Log data into the myairopsCAM system.
  • Liaising with FlyerTech customers via email and telephone to ensure timely receipt of aircraft Technical Logs and supporting documentation.
  • Identifying discrepancies, omissions, or errors within received documentation and promptly escalating these to the Technical Team.
  • Managing incoming mail and distributing documentation to the appropriate engineering personnel.
  • Filing and maintaining records and documentation as directed by engineering staff.
  • Providing administrative support to the business as required, including cover during periods of absence.
  • Updating and maintaining FlyerTech's controlled library documents and associated databases.
  • Maintaining and updating archive databases and records.
  • Assisting with general administrative duties across the business as required.
  • Undertaking any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required

Essential:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, data entry, or clerical role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.

Advantageous:

  • Experience within the aviation, engineering, or technical services sector.
  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance records or technical documentation.
  • Experience using database systems and document management software.
  • Knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) operations.

Location: This role is based at our Haywards Heath office and is primarily office-based due to the nature of the position.

Working closely with our Technical and Airworthiness teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate entry and management of aircraft maintenance records and associated documentation. The role requires a high degree of accuracy, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will regularly communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure documentation is received, processed, and distributed efficiently, helping to support the delivery of our CAMO services.
