About The Role

Our client, a well-established organization located in Holmewood, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join their team on an initial three-month contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who excel in accuracy and organization to contribute to the smooth operation of the company's administrative functions. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of company data by accurately entering, updating, and managing information across various systems. The position requires a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support the wider office team with administrative tasks, ensuring all records are current, precise, and well-organized.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional and positive attitude with a proactive approach.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk include:

  • Accurately entering and updating data across company systems and databases.
  • Maintaining and organizing records, documents, and spreadsheets to ensure easy access and retrieval.
  • Checking data for accuracy, completeness, and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Processing and organizing paperwork and electronic records efficiently.
  • Supporting office staff with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and correspondence.
  • Ensuring all records are kept current, organized, and compliant with company policies.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.
