About The Role

Our client is currently seeking a diligent and organized Data Entry Clerk to join their team on an initial 3-month contract based in Holmewood. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date company records, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced professional environment. The role requires a proactive approach to data management, with responsibilities spanning data entry, record keeping, and providing administrative support to the wider team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles is desirable but not essential.
  • A professional and positive attitude towards work.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk include:

  • Accurately entering and updating data across various company systems and databases.
  • Maintaining organized records, documents, and spreadsheets to ensure data integrity.
  • Reviewing information for accuracy and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Processing and organizing paperwork and electronic records efficiently.
  • Supporting office staff with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and correspondence.
  • Ensuring all records are kept current, organized, and easily accessible.
  • Assisting with additional administrative duties as required to support team operations.
