Data Entry Operator - 6 Month Contract
Location: London - near Russell Square
Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week, with 1-3 days in the office
Contract: 6 months - September 2026 to February 2027
Start Date: 1 September 2026
Rate: £150-£160 per day via umbrella company
The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator to join a professional services organisation on an initial six-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the business during the transition from its existing Professional Services Automation (PSA) system to a new platform. You will play a key role in ensuring large volumes of project and operational data are accurately entered, maintained, checked and prepared for migration.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience working with PSA systems and databases, alongside excellent attention to detail and the ability to work confidently with large volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter data into project management systems and databases.
- Review data regularly, identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies.
- Maintain the accuracy, integrity and security of all information.
- Monitor and record incoming data and source documentation.
- Compile, sort and verify information before entering it into systems.
- Monitor a shared mailbox, responding to queries or escalating where required.
- Respond to data-related queries from internal departments and stakeholders.
- Work closely with Project Managers to obtain missing or incomplete project information.
- Ensure all data-entry and project deadlines are met accurately and efficiently.
- Support the wider team throughout the transition from the existing PSA system to the new platform.

You will work with a range of systems, including:
- Kantata - Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform
- Salesforce
- Xero
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Teams
About You
We are particularly interested in candidates who have specific experience working with PSA systems and databases.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, Data Administrator or in a similar data-focused role.
- Hands-on experience using PSA systems/databases, such as Kantata, Salesforce, FinancialForce, OpenAir, Scoro, BigTime, Rocketlane or Polaris.
- Experience working with large volumes of data and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Experience working within Professional Services, such as consultancy, banking, law or accounting, would be highly desirable.
- A strong command of written and spoken English.
