The Role
What You Will Be Doing
As a Data Entry Administrator/Operator, you will work as part of a large team to ensure the efficient operation of the weekly lotteries. - Data Entry and Verification: You will carry out computer data entry for supporter information, including new members, lottery renewals, cancellations and similar updates. This includes verifying data for accuracy and producing required reports.
- Sorting and Opening Mail: You will be responsible for sorting and opening inbound mail received by the Lottery Office, ensuring all items are handled securely and processed promptly.
- Standing Order Mandates: You will manage the delivery and despatch of Standing Order Mandates to the relevant banks and building societies, ensuring all documents are sent correctly and on time.
- AI Scanning and Data Checking: You will use our AI scanning system to scan supporter forms and check that all data is captured accurately and securely.
- Outbound Mail Despatch: You will handle the despatch of outbound mail from the Company and Lottery Office, ensuring all communications and documents are prepared and sent in line with our procedures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
