Data Governance Analyst – 3 Month Contract

Outside IR35
London

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Data Governance professional who can come into an established environment and run with an existing Data Governance framework – embedding it across the business and turning it into day-to-day practice.

What you'll be doing:

  • Embed and operationalise an existing Data Governance Framework
  • Work with Data Owners and Data Stewards to establish clear accountability
  • Engage with business, Risk, Data Protection, Cyber, and Technology stakeholders
  • Identify, prioritise, and coordinate data risk remediation
  • Monitor remediation activity and ensure actions are tracked through to completion
  • Develop governance reporting, dashboards, and MI for senior stakeholders
  • Support data retention and information lifecycle initiatives
  • Support data discovery and governance across development, test, and UAT environments
  • Assist with access governance and RBAC activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve governance processes and prevent recurring data risks

  • Experience within a regulated environment is advantageous
  • Knowledge of data retention, lifecycle management, or access governance is a bonus
