Must have experience of rolling out data governance frameworks.

We are partnering with a leading organisation as they continue to develop and mature their data strategy and governance framework.

They are looking to appoint an experienced Data Governance Lead to take ownership of the organisation's data governance framework, ensuring data is accurate, trusted, secure, well-managed and used effectively across the business.

This is a highly visible role, working closely with Data, Technology, Risk, Compliance and business stakeholders to establish clear ownership and accountability for data and drive improvements in data quality and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of the organisation's data governance framework.
  • Establish clear data ownership, accountability and governance structures across the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, procedures and controls.
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to define and maintain data ownership and stewardship models.
  • Establish and monitor data quality standards, metrics and reporting.
  • Identify data quality issues and work with stakeholders to develop sustainable remediation plans.
