Data Governance Lead

We are hiring a Data Governance Lead to join our team at Grid Dynamics. Working at the intersection of modern technology and environmental impact, you will design and operationalize the governance framework - covering lineage, stewardship, quality, and access control - for a major UK sustainability initiative driving real-world change across massive corporate supply chains.

Responsibilities

  • Own the data governance perspective in for this large data engagement — assesses current governance maturity and shapes governance requirements as part of the proposed solution
  • Translate regulatory, compliance, and policy requirements into concrete architecture and delivery decisions
  • Build and maintain reusable data governance frameworks, maturity models, and assessment playbooks that GD can apply across engagements
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client-side stakeholders bridging their policy concerns and the engineering team's implementation choices
  • Support delivery teams in operationalizing governance: data stewardship models, data quality processes, lineage and cataloging, and access control policies
  • Track the evolving regulatory and AI-governance landscape and translates implications into practical guidance for pursuits and delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
