Do you have a strong knowledge of Data Governance within regulated financial environments?
You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a tech driven, global Asset Manager with multiple billions of dollars under management.
About the Role
As a Data Governance Lead you will own and evolve the firm’s Data Governance Framework, ensuring it remains aligned with the Data and AI Strategies, regulatory obligations and target data architecture. You’ll lead data governance forums, drive actions to completion and report on governance maturity, performance and risk to senior stakeholders.
You’ll maintain the register of Data Domains and Critical Data Assets, ensuring clear accountability through designated Data Sponsors and Owners. Collaborating with business teams, you’ll support data owners in managing quality, access controls, metadata and issue resolution, helping resolve ownership challenges and embed consistent practices across the firm.
A key focus will be defining and monitoring data quality standards, including metrics, rules, targets and reporting, while overseeing the resolution of material data issues. You’ll develop and maintain governance policies and guidelines, ensuring controls are proportionate to data classification, risk and business value, and automated wherever possible.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
