Zurich Cover-More partners with many of the world’s best-known brands – think major airlines, travel giants, top banks, credit card providers, and large retailers – to deliver more care, more cover, for all.

Launched in December 2024, Zurich Cover-More is the global travel brand of Zurich Insurance Group, one of the world’s leading multi-line insurers. Our family of customer-facing brands includes trusted names like Travel Guard, Cover-More Travel Insurance, Travelex Insurance, Universal Assistance, World Travel Protection, Freely, and Blue Insurance. Together, we’re redefining what it means to travel safely and with confidence. Whether it’s a long-awaited holiday, a last-minute business trip, or an unexpected detour, we deliver in the moments that matter.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role you will lead and embed a pragmatic data governance and data protection operating model across Cover-More Europe, ensuring that data is managed securely, compliantly, and effectively to support business growth and resilience.

  • Define and implement a robust data governance framework covering data protection, records management, and lifecycle management
  • Establish clear data ownership, accountability, and governance structures across the organisation
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures aligned to regulatory and business needs
  • Lead data protection operations including ROPA, DPIA/DTIA governance, and privacy risk management
  • Act as the key operational interface with the external Data Protection Officer (DPO)
  • Embed data retention, deletion, and anonymisation practices across systems and processes
  • Provide data governance leadership to business change, integration, and transformation initiatives
  • Oversee data risk across third-party and outsourced providers, ensuring compliance and transparency
  • Identify, assess, and manage data-related risks, supporting audit and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver clear reporting and assurance to senior stakeholders on governance and data protection matters
  • Lead and develop data governance capability across the organisation, including line management of a Data Officer
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong data practices

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
