Client is strengthening its data governance capabilities and is urgently looking for a Data Governance Lead cum Sr. Data Architect to define and drive its data governance strategy, governance framework, and playbook, particularly with major initiatives such as the Maconomy Cloud ERP and M-Files implementations starting next month.
Your responsibilities:
- Establish the data governance framework for these 2 key initiatives, including roles, responsibilities, decision-making processes, and governance forums.
- Define and implement data ownership and stewardship models for key content domains and information assets.
- Develop and maintain the metadata, taxonomy, and classification standards required for effective search, knowledge management, and reuse.
- Conduct information asset and data quality assessments, identifying gaps and driving remediation activities.
- Define and govern the content lifecycle, including retention, archiving, and deletion requirements in alignment with compliance needs.
- Lead the data governance workstream for data migration, including data cleansing, validation, and migration readiness reviews.
- Ensure that the 2 key initiatives content is AI-ready, with appropriate metadata, quality standards, and governance controls to support future AI and knowledge management use cases.
- Produce and maintain a Data Governance Playbook, documenting standards, processes, roles, and best practices to support long-term adoption and sustainability.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong Data Governance expertise with hands-on and pragmatic experience.
- Experience with the DAMA Data Management Framework.
- Leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and business audiences.
- Experience in international/global organizations.
