Data Governance Manager

Manchester - Hybrid 2 days a week in office

Salary - £70k-£80k + 15% Bonus + 10% Pension + Benefits

I'm currently partnering with a leading fintech business who are looking to appoint an experienced Data Governance & Quality Manager to lead and mature their data governance capability.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys operating across data, risk, stakeholders, and senior leadership, driving governance, quality, and continuous improvement across a modern, cloud-first data estate.

The Opportunity

This client is building a governed, interoperable data estate on an enterprise Lakehouse platform, moving away from fragmented, legacy silos. You'll take ownership of the Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks, working closely with Data Owners, business stakeholders, and senior IT leadership to embed a genuinely data-led culture. You'll also lead a team of 5, with scope to grow it further.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
