📍 Location: Greater London, UK
🏢 Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days/week in office
💷 Rate: £450/day Inside IR35 (maximum)

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Engineer / Consultant to support Telecom Partner and Enterprise Data Management initiatives. The role will focus on implementing enterprise-wide data governance, data quality, metadata, compliance, and lineage capabilities across the Google Cloud ecosystem.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise Data Governance frameworks and operating models
- Define data quality standards, controls and monitoring
- Implement metadata management and business glossaries
- Establish data lineage, impact analysis and traceability
- Define and implement data contracts and governance policies
- Configure policy tagging, data classification and compliance controls
- Drive governance adoption using Google Cloud Dataplex and Atlan Data Catalog
- Work with business, architecture, engineering and compliance stakeholders
- Support regulatory, security and audit requirements
- Contribute to enterprise data management and Digital Twin data governance
