The Job
We're looking for a Data Governance Officer to support and strengthen data governance across Creditsafe's global data operations.
Working closely with international data stewards, technical teams, data suppliers and key stakeholders, you'll help ensure that our data is accurate, compliant, well-governed and consistently managed across all countries and entities.
You'll play a key role in maintaining data governance processes, supporting data quality initiatives, managing metadata and documentation, and helping to drive consistency across Creditsafe's global data landscape.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about improving how information is managed within a growing international business.
What you'll own
- Building strong relationships with international data stewards and subject matter experts across the Creditsafe Group.
- Coordinating regular Data Governance meetings, including managing agendas, actions and follow-up activities.
- Escalating data-related issues from local Creditsafe entities to Group stakeholders where required.
- Supporting the implementation and enforcement of group-wide policies and procedures, including Data Privacy, Change Management and Supplier Onboarding.
- Monitoring supplier data loading and working with relevant teams to resolve any issues.
- Managing documentation and relationships relating to data suppliers and external data sources.
- Promoting consistent data governance and data quality standards across suppliers, entities and internal processes.
- Maintaining Data Governance SharePoint sites and repositories to ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.
- Managing repositories of supplier contracts, file specifications and supporting documentation.
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Creditsafe's Data Catalogue, including data dictionaries, business glossaries and lineage information.
- Monitoring data loading reports and investigating data processing or quality issues with local data stewards.
- Assisting with data governance projects, management reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
