Data Governance & Quality Assurance Lead
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are currently recruiting a Data Governance & Quality Assurance Lead to join our team.
CBRE is seeking a driven and technically minded subject matter expert to serve as the Data Governance & Quality Assurance Lead. This role is accountable for strengthening data quality, reporting consistency, performance insight, and governance discipline across all regions where Syngenta data is held within CBRE systems. The role will operate across both the CBRE and customer organization. It will report into CBRE but have a direct interface to the Syngenta GFM Operational Excellence Lead for delivery of agreed data-governance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Data Strategy & Governance Accountability
- Owns the overall data quality framework and defines a strategic plan that establishes robust governance structures, aligns priorities with GFM, and creates clear accountability for data quality across all regions.
- Establishes clear ownership and stewardship arrangements for critical data, addressing governance gaps and embedding clear lines of accountability across the organization.
- Leads the global data reporting standards program, ensuring enterprise-wide standards, policies, and procedures are defined, approved, and implemented to support consistency, integrity, and control.
- Ensures adherence to Syngenta-defined data principles, minimum data fields, common definitions, and quality thresholds—implementing and enforcing agreed standards based on asset type and criticality across all systems where Syngenta FM data is held.
- Drives governance adoption through structured change management and stakeholder engagement, ensuring data quality and compliance protocols are understood and embedded.
Data Quality & Reporting Consistency
- Owns the global data and reporting program end to end, setting direction and maintaining standards for data accuracy, accessibility, and relevance across key data domains.
- Improves data completeness and accuracy by establishing formal standards, controls, and assurance activity that address reporting inconsistencies across regions.
- Defines data quality baselines and measurable improvement metrics across relevant domains, including asset health and compliance.
- Tracks and reports progress against agreed data quality targets through an established governance cadence, providing transparency on data health, performance, and unresolved gaps.
- Provides governance oversight for the development of dashboards and reporting outputs, working closely with operational stakeholders to ensure business intelligence outputs are fit for purpose and aligned to agreed business requirements.

Year One Deliverables
In the first year, this role will be instrumental in laying the critical foundation for robust data governance and quality, directly addressing the "stabilise" and "govern" phases outlined in the GFM Data Strategy roadmap.
Specific deliverables include:
- Establish data quality baselines: Complete a structured assessment of the current data landscape by Q3 2026, and define measurable baselines and control metrics for key data domains by Q4 2026.
- Define and socialize governance and stewardship principles: Formalize and communicate the five data principles across GFM and CBRE leadership by the end of Q3 2026, including clear ownership and accountability arrangements for critical data elements.
- Support CMMS consolidation and integration architecture: Contribute governance requirements to the finalization of CMMS integration architecture by Q4 2026 to ensure the design supports data quality, control, and the prevention of new data silos.
