The Data Input Part-time – The Card & Payments Awards role is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data related to award entries, sponsors, categories, and event logistics in the organization’s systems. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Validating and cleaning data
- Ensuring consistency across databases
- Preparing basic reports or summaries for internal stakeholders
- Supporting the awards team with ad hoc data-related requests
The role also involves:
- Coordinating with colleagues to clarify missing or incomplete information
- Following data governance standards
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
This is a full-time remote role, requiring reliable access to a secure internet connection and the ability to work collaboratively with a geographically distributed team.
Qualifications
- Strong Data Analysis and Data Analytics skills to interpret, validate, and summarize award-related information and metrics.
- Solid Data Management and Data Input skills to accurately capture, update, and maintain information across multiple systems and databases.
- Foundational Data Modeling and data structure understanding to support organized and efficient storage and retrieval of information.
- Robust Analytical Skills and attention to detail to identify inconsistencies, verify data accuracy, and follow quality standards.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic database tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms) is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment, are required.
- Experience in the payments, fintech, or awards/events sector is an advantage but not essential.
- Relevant education or training in data, business, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
