Data & Insights Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £52,000
Location: London (Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office)
I'm currently working with a well-known national charity looking to hire a Data & Insights Manager to lead and develop their growing insight function. This is a newly created role, managing two established analysts and playing a key part in supporting an ambitious new fundraising strategy.
The organisation is looking to move beyond traditional reporting and make much better use of its data to understand audiences, inform fundraising decisions and generate genuinely actionable insight. You'll help develop areas such as audience profiling and segmentation, propensity modelling and lifetime value analysis, while ensuring existing reporting and data selections continue to be delivered effectively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The role would suit an experienced Insight Manager, Senior Data Analyst or Analytics Manager who combines a strong analytical background with the communication skills and credibility to work with senior stakeholders. Charity or fundraising experience would be advantageous but isn't essential, with strong transferable analytical experience equally considered.
