Role Description

We are seeking an experienced UK based Data Integration Business Analyst to support one of Matrixx Solutions' key clients with data integration, remediation and project delivery activity. The initial focus will be on analysing Salesforce fallout, exception and error data arising from integration activity, identifying data quality and process issues, and helping the business drive those issues through to resolution.

Salesforce is the immediate platform focus, but the role is intentionally broader. Over time, the successful candidate may work across other business systems, datasets and integration or change initiatives as client priorities evolve.

This is a hands-on analytical role with a strong delivery component. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between detailed data investigation and broader workstream coordination: analysing data themselves, engaging business and technical stakeholders, maintaining momentum on actions and dependencies, and taking ownership of defined packages of work through to completion.

The role is therefore well suited to an experienced analyst who already has project or workstream delivery experience and is capable of taking on increasing project management responsibility as the programme develops.

Key Responsibilities

Data Integration, Analysis & Remediation

  • Analyse Salesforce fallout, exception and error data to identify data quality issues, process failures, system discrepancies, root causes and associated business impacts.
  • Extract, manipulate, cleanse and validate large datasets from Salesforce and other business systems to support investigation, reconciliation, assurance and decision-making.
  • Perform detailed analysis using advanced Excel functionality, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, conditional formatting, complex formulas and structured data comparison techniques.
  • Carry out data reconciliation and comparison activities to identify discrepancies between source systems, target systems and reporting outputs.
  • Work with business and technical SMEs to validate findings, understand root causes, define corrective actions and support resolution of identified issues.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation or analysis of test data, review of test outputs, identification of defects and exceptions, and tracking of data-related issues through to closure.
  • Produce clear management information, dashboards and ad hoc reporting, using Power BI or other reporting tools where appropriate.
  • Where appropriate, use or support deeper analysis through SQL queries, Python or other data analysis and automation tools

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Take ownership of defined data integration, remediation, testing or improvement workstreams from investigation through to agreed resolution and closure.
  • Develop and maintain proportionate work plans, actions, risks, issues, dependencies and milestones for assigned activities.

  • Monitor progress, identify emerging delivery risks or blockers and escalate issues appropriately to project or programme leadership.
  • Support project governance and PMO activities where required, including status reporting, action tracking, meeting preparation and follow-up.
  • Contribute to broader project management activity and, where appropriate, lead smaller projects or work packages as experience and programme needs develop.

  • Demonstrable experience of owning actions, work packages or workstreams and driving activity through to completion.
  • Good understanding of project delivery disciplines, including planning, risks, issues, dependencies, actions, milestones and stakeholder reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly and influence stakeholders to act on them.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to understand wider business impact and delivery priorities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with global teams and stakeholders.

The role offers scope to develop into broader project management responsibility as the client programme and future assignments evolve.

Salary/ Remuneration

Indicative salary range: £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Candidates who combine strong Salesforce and data-integration experience with advanced analytical capability and proven project/workstream delivery experience would typically be considered toward the upper end of the range.

The role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term employee contract, with the potential to extend beyond the initial term. Standard company benefits include pension provision, holiday entitlement and sickness benefits.
