We’re looking for a Data Integration Engineer to join a growing Data & Analytics function, taking ownership of the design, development and ongoing improvement of integrations across a complex enterprise technology landscape.
This is a hands-on technical role with a broader remit around how data moves between systems, applications and platforms. You’ll work across APIs, ETL processes, integration tooling and master data, while helping establish the standards and governance needed to create reliable and scalable data flows across the organisation.
The Role
As a Data Integration Engineer, you’ll work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate these into effective technical solutions.
You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing integrations between a range of systems, ensuring data moves accurately, securely and efficiently. Alongside delivery, you’ll play an important role in improving the organisation’s wider approach to integration architecture, master data management and data governance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing and implementing data integrations across multiple systems and applications
- Building and maintaining API-based integrations and ETL/ELT processes
- Working with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and solution designs
- Monitoring existing integrations and identifying opportunities to improve performance, reliability and efficiency

- Developing technical solutions that improve data quality, accuracy, consistency and integrity
- Contributing to integration governance, standards and best practices
- Helping establish consistent approaches to how integrations are designed, documented and maintained

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
