Your new company

You will be joining a major public sector programme delivering large-scale data integration and analytics capabilities within a complex enterprise environment. Working as part of a newly established Agile delivery team, you will contribute to the development of innovative data solutions that support risk assessment, compliance and operational decision-making.

Your new role

As a Data Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development and deployment of data ingestion, integration and risking capabilities within a modern SAS analytics platform. Working across multiple data sources, you will help build scalable pipelines and services that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions.

You will work with technologies including SAS Viya, Pentaho, Talend, Denodo and Oracle, collaborating with architects, engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment. You'll also drive DevOps best practices, support continuous improvement initiatives and help mentor junior team members.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience with SAS 9.4 Data Integration and/or SAS Viya 3.x.
  • Extensive ETL and data integration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Pentaho, Talend and/or Denodo.
  • Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
  • Experience working with Git, Jira and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and automated deployment practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable experience includes Oracle, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and experience working within large-scale regulated or public sector environments.
