Join FSCS at a time of significant change as we modernise our integration and workflow landscape.

This role is responsible for leading the design, development, support and progressive modernisation of integration and workflow solutions, maintaining the reliability of our existing SSIS estate while helping to reduce reliance on legacy technologies through pragmatic use of modern, cloud-based and event-driven integration patterns.

You'll provide hands-on technical leadership across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design through build, testing, release and operational support. Working closely with Product, Operations, Architecture, Security and other stakeholders, you'll help shape integration solutions that meet business and operational needs while supporting both business-as-usual improvements and wider transformation activity.

A key challenge of the role is balancing the need to keep critical services safe, reliable and supportable today while creating a clear route away from legacy SSIS-based integrations.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Integration Leadership & Modernisation - Lead the design, delivery and ongoing modernisation of integration and workflow solutions, balancing the support of today's services with the transition away from legacy SSIS-based integrations.
  • Solution Delivery & Service Reliability - Oversee the development, support and continuous improvement of business-critical integration services, ensuring solutions are secure, maintainable and operationally resilient.
  • Technical Leadership & Engineering Excellence - Drive engineering standards and champion modern integration approaches, including API-led, event-driven and cloud-native solutions, while leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance delivery quality.
  • Stakeholder & Team Collaboration - Provide technical leadership across blended onshore and offshore teams, suppliers and partners, building strong relationships and ensuring effective collaboration across technology, operations and business stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
