Data Lake Programme Lead | Global Consulting Firm | Contract

Robert Half is supporting a global consulting firm in the search for an experienced Data Lake Programme Lead to help drive a major Data Lake transformation programme for a leading international organisation. This is a business-focused leadership role, requiring someone who can bring together Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain and Technology stakeholders to successfully deliver a large-scale data and analytics agenda.

Contract Details

  • Location: Predominantly Remote (occasional travel as required)
  • Rate: £600-£650 per day via Umbrella
  • Duration: Initial 6-month contract
  • Start: ASAP
  • Turnaround: Approx. 1-2 week turnaround for interview, onboarding and mobilisation

The Role

You will lead a high-profile Data Lake and Analytics programme, acting as the bridge between business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption across the organisation.

This is not a hands-on engineering role. Instead, we are looking for someone with strong programme leadership experience who understands modern data platforms and can confidently engage senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
