We are Hiring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) SME in Norwich / London (Onshore)

Contract

6 Months contract

2 days onsite, Hybrid model


Role Summary

Title: Data Loss Prevention (DLP) SME

Location: Norwich / London (Onshore)

Start Date: ASAP

Based on the job description, this is a senior-level Data Loss Prevention (DLP) SME role focused primarily on Microsoft Purview DLP and Zscaler DLP within the Aviva Group CISO function.

The role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise DLP controls across cloud, endpoint, email, SaaS, and network environments. The successful candidate will serve as the organization's technical authority for DLP technologies and data protection strategy.


Core Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Design and implement enterprise DLP solutions.
  • Act as the SME for:
    • Microsoft Purview DLP
    • Zscaler DLP
    • Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (desirable)
    • Defender DLP (desirable)

Policy Management

  • Develop and maintain DLP policies and rules.
  • Align controls with data classification and business requirements.
  • Optimize policies to reduce false positives.

Security Operations Support

  • Work with SOC and Cyber Operations teams.
  • Investigate DLP incidents and alerts.
  • Support remediation activities.

Governance & Reporting

  • Define DLP metrics and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create runbooks, procedures, and technical documentation.
