Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

WHAT OUR DATA MANAGER WILL DO:

  • Define and lead the data architecture approach required to support the target operating model, ensuring alignment across systems, data domains and workstreams
  • Establish core data governance foundations — ownership, stewardship and custodianship models, data standards and policies — appropriate to the organisation's maturity and needs
  • Act as the central point of data expertise for the operating model project, identifying data-related risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities across all workstreams
  • Translate operating model design decisions into practical data management requirements (data quality, master data, metadata, lineage, integration)
  • Work closely with IT, business stakeholders and workstream leads to ensure data considerations are embedded in process, system and organisational design changes
  • Produce clear governance artefacts (e.g. policies, RACI, standards) that can be adopted and sustained by the business post-project
  • Provide recommendations on the longer-term data organisation structure and capability required to sustain improvements delivered by the project

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR DATA MANAGER:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks and data architecture in medium to complex organisations
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP platforms (IFS advantageous), including data models, master data structures and integration points
  • Strong data experience within a manufacturing and supply chain environment (e.g. production, inventory, procurement, planning, logistics data domains)
  • Strong understanding of data management disciplines (data quality, master data management, metadata, data lifecycle)
