Data & Measurement Advisor (Ref: 256483)

Fixed Term Contract/Secondment Until 31 March 2027

Full-Time: 36 Hours per Week

Band 7 (£52,845 - £61,466)

Edinburgh/Glasgow: Hybrid working will apply for the foreseeable future

An exciting opportunity has become available in our Data, Measurement & Business Intelligence Team. In this dynamic and demanding role, you will work alongside teams across Healthcare Improvement Scotland, providing expert advice and support on using quantitative data about the quality of care. This includes using data as an integral part of our work supporting those delivering health and social care across Scotland to redesign and continuously improve services. It also includes using data to inform our external quality assurance of these services.

  • Educated to degree level
  • Additional experience of analysing, interpreting and using complex information
  • In-depth knowledge, together with recent practical experience, of using quantitative data about the quality of health and/or social care
  • Experience of coding (e.g. using R) will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodology
