Data & MI Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Data & MI Analyst to join the Customer Service Group (CSG) Resource Planning function. In this key role, you will deliver high-quality management information, reporting, and performance insights that support senior leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Working closely with a range of stakeholders, you will develop and maintain dashboards, reporting packs, and analysis that improve operational performance and customer service outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity to help shape a new MI sub-team, develop your analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, and benefit from outstanding Civil Service learning, flexible working, and pension arrangements.

Job Description

As part of the Customer Service Group (CSG) Resource Planning function, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality management information, reporting, and analysis that supports effective decision-making and operational performance. You will develop and maintain reporting packs, dashboards, and performance insights, ensuring all outputs are accurate, timely, and underpinned by robust governance and quality assurance processes.

Using a range of analytical tools, including Power BI and Excel, you will identify trends, risks, and opportunities within performance data and provide clear, actionable insights to senior leaders. You will tailor reporting and analysis to meet stakeholder needs and help drive evidence-based decision-making.

Working closely with the SEO CSG Data Lead and Senior Leaders, and collaborating with other MI and analysis teams, you will build strong stakeholder relationships, support reporting requirements, and contribute to a consistent approach to management information across the Customer Support Group.

You will also play an active role in continuous improvement, helping to enhance reporting processes, promote best practice in data management and presentation, and support the development of capability within the Management Information team.

To be successful in this role you should have the following technical skills and experience:

  • Proven experience providing MI or analysis to support operational or strategic decision making.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and shape outputs.
  • Strong team-working skills and ability to deliver at pace under tight deadlines.

Due to the nature of the role, occasional travel to HM Land Registry offices, including overnight stays, may be required to support cross-site meetings and stakeholder engagement. Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

For more information about the role and the full Person Specification, please see the attached Job Description.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
