Major UK FTSE 100 organisation - Finance Transformation
Birmingham - Hybrid
Up to £80,000 - £90,000 + bonus + benefits
Astrum Search is delighted to be supporting a major UK organisation with the appointment of a Data, MI & Assurance Manager within a significant Finance transformation programme.
This is a newly established role with responsibility for building the data, management information, analytics and assurance capability supporting a major transformation programme. Initially focused on Balance Sheet Assurance, the remit will expand across Finance Governance, Risk & Control, Financial Control, SOX readiness and wider Finance Transformation.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the data, reporting and analytics workstream for Balance Sheet Assurance
- Develop executive dashboards, KPIs and management reporting using Power BI
- Improve finance data quality, reporting consistency and automation
- Analyse financial trends, reconciliations and exceptions to identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Develop finance data structures, reporting models and ownership frameworks
- Translate complex financial and technical information into clear management insight
- Lead and develop a Data & MI Analyst whilst remaining hands-on in delivery
Skills & Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong understanding of balance sheet accounting, financial reporting and General Ledger structures
- Strong experience in Finance MI, reporting, analytics and data modelling
- Advanced Power BI and Excel capability
- Experience improving reporting through automation and process improvement
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience across data governance, Finance Transformation, controls or assurance would be advantageous
