Data Migration Consultant
Contract: 6 months
Rate: £500–£550 per day
Location: Remote
The role will focus on migrating complex legacy data from an on-premise environment into a modern cloud platform, working closely with Finance, IT, and programme stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, map, and transform data from legacy systems.
- Support data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
- Build and manage ETL and migration processes.
- Deliver test migrations and support cutover activity.
- Investigate and resolve data-quality issues.
- Maintain clear migration documentation and audit trails.

Required experience
- Strong background in complex data migration.
- Experience with ETL and integration tools such as Informatica, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Talend, Matillion, Boomi, or MuleSoft.
- Strong SQL, data mapping, and reconciliation skills.
- Experience working with legacy and cloud-based data environments.
- Ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
