Data Migration Delivery Manager (E2E Tracking & Governance) — SAP S/4HANA Transformation
Contract | On-site (UK) | 40 hours/week | Start: ASAP (from 28 September 2026)
A global organisation is undergoing a large-scale transformation and separation programme, implementing SAP S/4HANA and harmonising processes and data across a complex application landscape. We’re looking for an experienced Data Migration Delivery Manager (E2E Tracking & Governance) to lead end-to-end tracking, coordination, and governance of data migration across all in-scope applications.
In this pivotal role, you’ll create a consolidated view of migration and cleansing progress across ~70–100 applications, working across IT, process owners, regional deployment teams, and a systems integrator partner. Your ability to bring structure to complexity and provide decision-focused reporting into senior steering forums will be key.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tracking and coordination of data migration activities across global and local applications
- Build and maintain an integrated view of scope, milestones, readiness, dependencies, and delivery status
- Drive alignment across IT application teams, process owner teams, deployment teams, and SI partner
- Own governance and reporting outputs (dashboards, RAID, status criteria, evidence-based reporting)
- Identify cross-application dependencies and integration risks; drive mitigation actions to closure
- Facilitate governance forums and issue-resolution sessions; ensure clear ownership and follow-through
- Support and coach a delivery analyst supporting the workstream

What You’ll Need
Experience
- 5–8+ years in project delivery / programme governance / data migration in large transformation programmes
- Proven delivery coordination across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
- Strong experience producing senior/executive reporting and managing risks/issues/dependencies
- SAP S/4HANA transformation experience highly desirable (carve-out/separation experience is a plus)

Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of the data migration lifecycle (cleansing, validation, reconciliation, testing, cutover)
- Confident creating integrated plans, dashboards, RAID logs, and steering packs
- Working knowledge of application integration and cross-system dependencies
- Advanced Excel/PowerPoint plus Teams/SharePoint (planning/reporting tools are an advantage)

- Structured, analytical, proactive, and comfortable challenging teams to meet commitments
- Able to operate in fast-paced, multi-cultural, geographically distributed environments
- Fluent English; willingness to travel internationally if required
